I was so excited to appear live on the AMP Sports Network! Being on air always brings a rush, but this particular appearance felt special. At the 37:37-minute mark, I joined the broadcast to dive into some of the most powerful conversations happening in sports and culture today. Listen HERE

From the start, the energy was electric. We covered a wide range of topics—everything from the WNBA Collective Bargaining Agreement to the National Women’s Soccer League CBA—and the importance of fair contracts and negotiations that truly reflect the work, dedication, and value of women athletes. These agreements are not just paperwork; they are pathways to equity, sustainability, and respect for the leagues that continue to elevate women’s sports.
But the conversation didn’t stop at contracts. I also shared some behind-the-scenes reflections on my experiences producing for leaders like President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Those opportunities shaped the way I see leadership, storytelling, and the responsibility to create platforms where voices—especially those too often overlooked—can be amplified.

One of the most exciting moments during my appearance was talking about women’s flag football and its upcoming moment on the world’s biggest stage: the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The impact this will have cannot be overstated. Flag football being recognized at that level will not only inspire a new generation of young girls to pick up the game, but it will also push for increased investment, visibility, and respect for women in sports. This is history in the making, and being able to talk about it on air was a joy.
I left the broadcast feeling energized, grateful, and more determined than ever to keep educating and advocating for women athletes, fairness, and opportunities that change lives. Appearing on AMP Sports Network was a reminder of why I do what I do: to highlight voices, to push boundaries, and to remind the world that women in sports are not just participants—we are pioneers. I hope everyone who tuned in felt the passion, the vision, and the excitement of what’s ahead. This is only the beginning, and I cannot wait for what’s to come.
